Humble Grumble

Humble Grumble is a Belgian band, performing an unworldly mixture of different genres of music. Most people refer to Frank Zappa when they hear their music, but this group is a true neuance in the Belgian music scene.

The band was formed in 1996 with key members of the folkgroup Dearest Companion, graduately turning into the humourous, intensely theatrical and entertaining live band that they are now. The identity of Humble Grumble has been shaped by their numerous live performances, but also by the musical influences and different cultural backgrounds of it's musicians.

The members of Humble Grumble share the dedication to give quality live performances time after time. Humble Grumble is: Humble Gabor (guitar, lead vocals), Pol Mareen (saxophone), Jouni Isoherranen (bass, vocals), Jonatan Callens (drums), Pedro Guridi (clarinet & whistle) & Marijn Thissen (viola, vocals). Humble Grumble has released three albums so far, 'Dreamwavepatterns' (2000), 'Rockstar (2004)', '30 Years Kolinda' (2005).This year Humble Grumble will tour with 'The Kolinda Project', an ode the Hungarian world music group Kolinda, and 'The Face of Humble Grumble', a project in celebration of Humble Grumble's 10th anniversary.
