This was an abysmally difficult server configuration problem to solve, even with the help of some smart people. I am not a server administrator, but am well versed in computer systems and programing in general, and this took way too much time to figure out.
There was another bug in downloading script - when QuickTime is installed on your system, songs kept getting streamed in your browser instead of downloaded.
It is fixed now :)
